The S.S. PACKNAM was built in 1895 by R. Napier & Sons Shipuilding and Engineering Company in Glasgow. The steamship PACKNAM was 210 feet in length and had a gross tonnage of 700 tons.
The ship was powered by a triple expansion steam engine that generated 121 horsepower.
