A rare pair of British Admiralty / Royal Navy pattern ships Port and Starboard navigation lanterns.
Made from copper with brass fittings and coloured glass fresnel lenses.Â
Converted into electrical operation with bulb holders and fittings present.
Not only are these lanterns rare, but they are in remarkable condition given that they are nearly 120 years old.
All components are stamped with the British Admiralty / Royal Navy Broad Arrow mark. One lantern is also stamped BULPITT & SONS, BIRMINGHAM, 1905. Height to top of chimney 15.5" / 39cm, max height 17.5" / 44cm.
