Antique marine oil painting of the three masted, barque rigged sailing ship OSTERBEK.
The ship has nice proportions and is depicted under full sail.

Lloyds register of shipping lists the OSTERBEK as being built in 1890 by Grangemouth Dockyard Co. The ship was a 1605 ton three masted steel barque that had a length of 259.8 feet / beam 38.2 feet / draught 21 feet. The ship was owned by KNORR & BURCHARD NFL and registered in Hamburg.
