Antique ships bell engraved HOLY WATH, 1872.
The HOLY WATH was a wooden two masted topsail schooner that was built at Amlwch in 1872. The schooner has a gross tonnage of 119 and was 88.4 feet in length. The ship was broken up in 1925.
This bell has a silver coloured finish so it is probaly cast in gunmetal. It is beautifully hand engraved with the name and date built. The bell is complete with its original clapper (ringer) and has a fancy ropework bell rope attached.
