A large antique US Navy Master Diver insignia. The plaque shows a Morse Mk V/ Siebe Gorman type "hard hat" diving helmet, surrounded by sea serpents and crowned with Poseidon's trident.
SORRY THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD
This crest was reputedly on display at HMS VERNON until it closed in 1996. Height 35cm / 13.5"
