An early 19th Century / circa 1810 Octant, constructed from ebony , brass and ivory

This antique navigators Octant has been mounted onto a hardwood backboard for presentation or display, the Octant can easily be removed so it can be handled. These is space below the Octant so an engraved presentation plaque could be attached if required. 

The Octant has not been modified or damaged to enable mounting.
